Criticising the inhuman attitude of the Political Administration officials, Mehsud tribesmen Sunday decried over unnecessary collection of tax by Political Administration in Wana from each Mehsud entering Wana. Talking to INP, Khan Zeb Mehsud said that Mehsud tribesmen could not enter South Waziristan Agency (SWA) without getting themselves registered despite having the National Identity Cards (NICs). If someone failed to get registered, it would become necessary for him to get traveling permit from the Political Agent’s office which was provided only for three days to enter SWA and that too on payment of certain amount to the officials. “In addition, to get travel permit, each Mehsud has to pay Rs 60,” another Mehsud, Habib, said while explaining the ordeal of the people.
