Advisor to Prime Minister on Interior Rehman Malik was elected unopposed Senator on technocrat seat from Karachi.
Nobody had submitted nomination papers against Malik.
A notification has also been issued in this regard.
“I am thankful to PPP leadership and our allies for reposing confidence in me,” Malik, accompanied by MQM ministers, spoke to journalists at the office of provincial election commission soon after the official announcement of his success.
The former interior minister had quit his Senate seat after Supreme Court suspended his upper house membership for holding dual nationality.

  1. I bet this is preparation for Comedy Relief Week. Why else would no one oppose a clown being elected to Senate. Now we know without a doubt that there are idiots in the senate.

  2. Hi Miss Piggy,

Why are you annoyed for a P I G being elected to the senate?
(For God sake change your name)
