Justice (retd) Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim took oath as the new Chief Election Commissioner at the Supreme Court on Monday.
Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry administered the oath.
Earlier, the ceremony was scheduled for Friday which was postponed on Ebrahim’s requests.
