Two persons were wounded in an intense blast outside the Chinese Consulate in Clifton, Karachi on Monday, according to officials.
Police said a bomb, planted in a motorcycle, blew up which damaged two vehicles and three motorcycles outside the consulate and injured two men.
Police, Rangers and Rescue teams reached the area and cordoned-off the blast site.
Superintendent Police said two people including a Ranger was wounded in the blast.
He said that the blast took place in a high security zone at the backside of the consulate. It is suspected that the blast was aimed at targeting the Chinese Consulate.
An immediate inquiry was ordered by Pakistani officials.
