Ambassador on Polio Eradication Aseefa Bhutto Zardari has said that the polio vaccination campaigns in the country have met a lot of success and helped reduce the polio cases.
In an interview with BBC Urdu Service‚ she said her intention is to reach every child no matter wherever they are in Pakistan.
She said “this year we have recorded twenty three polio cases‚ the figure we can not afford to have in the country.”
She said the polio campaign was first launched by her mother Benazir Bhutto who never wanted to see Pakistan’s children crippled by the disease.
When asked what strategy she is pursuing to confront those parents and families who are not willing to get their children vaccinated‚ Aseefa Bhutto Zardari said certain groups in the country are against the polio vaccination campaigns. However‚ she termed their opposition to the campaign politically motivated.
She said that President Asif Ali Zardari in 2011 launched a national emergency plan that strategized how to reach out to the people in the troubled tribal areas. “With this plan”‚ she said‚ “we have been able to reach some children and we are trying to get the maximum number of children vaccinated.”

  1. Tell your father to bring that money he stole from Pakistani adults and these children who are the future of Pakistan.

  2. Why do they feel the need to put their maternal grand fathers name before their own father's Or even use it…

  3. Other than being a lucky sperm, what exactly is her qualification to be the ambassador? When asked about her strategy to counter parents who are against vaccination, she blamed resistence to political opposition. WHAT? Listen to the question stupid!!! Nobody asked you the reason for opposition, you were asked about your strategy. If you had none, say so. I have come across some stupid people in my life but never ever have I seen a whole bunch of people this stupid as the ppp members. She should go back to sucking a lolipop to practice for her boyfriends. What an idiot.
