Acute shortage of water has hit Sector G-8-1 due to nonfunctional tube-wells, creating serious problems for the residents of the sector.
The residents do not have water for cleaning utensils or drinking. The residents of Cabinet Block, FIA and Karachi Flats have complained several times that tube-well No 210 has not been functioning for six days, but no person has come for its repair.
The residents have appealed to the authorities concerned to take immediate notice of the nonfunctional tube-well even during Ramadan and ensure its repair so that the masses are provided with some relief.
