National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Chairman Tariq Malik has reinstated 61 terminated employees of NADRA involved in strikes after personal hearing of each case, NADRA spokesman said on Saturday. He said the chairman noticed suffering of sacked employees’ families and reinstated them after taking charge with back pay and promised that they will be regularized as well. He told them they were public servants and their promotions will depend on citizen’s feedback through media and not the tenure of their service. He will move HR department to frame rules, regulations and present it to NADRA board. Employees thanked the NADRA chairman for reinstating them in Ramdan with release of three-month salaries.
