Ancient bridge in Dhoke Juma about to fall!

A 100-year-old bridge in the Dhoke Jumma area of Cantonment Board Rawalpindi is posing a serious threat.
The residence of the area said that the bridge was over 100-year old and had exceeded its usual age.
The bridge is also used for heavy traffic putting lives of the people at risk. Its reconstruction is the need of the hour for security of people, the residents said.
Meanwhile, an electricity pole erected in the middle of Dhoke Juma on a mud dune by Wapda is also a source of concern for the residents of the area.
The residents have appealed to the Cantonment Board and WAPDA to reconstruct the old bridge and take care of the loose electricity pole.
