Transporters of Hyderabad won’t reduce fares

The transporters of Hyderabad have refused to bring down the fares despite decrease in petrol and CNG tariffs. According to details, the transporters across Hyderabad district had increased five to 10 rupees fare on city routes. Now despite reduction in petrol and CNG prices transporters had refused to decrease the fares in accordance with the petroleum products. Commuters of the city said they had to pay increased fares in public transport which was a violation of their basic rights. They have demanded of the authorities concerned to implement government fare list otherwise they would hold district-wide protests and strikes.
