Real estate tycoon Malik Riaz Hussain on Friday said he had full confidence in the investigative team, but authorities should stop seeking revenge from him. He was talking to reporters on Friday after appearing before a five-member probe team made by the attorney general in the Arsalan Iftikhar case. Riaz said he also had full confidence in the chief justice of Pakistan and had left his case with Allah Almighty. Earlier, Riaz appeared before the JIT at NAB HQs and recorded his statement.
He was examined by members of the JIT regarding his allegations against Arsalan Iftikhar Chaudhry. He has been given a detailed questionnaire which is to be returned duly filled by him by July 24. Riaz also submitted evidence to substantiate his contention and sought time to provide additional documentary and other evidence in respect of alleged questionable and illegal transactions. The JIT has summoned Arsalan Iftikhar Chaudhry, Salman Ahmed and Ahmed Khalil on July 23 for recording their statements. The members of the JIT will also visit the UK and UAE for collecting evidence.

  1. Arsalan has filed a review petition aganist JIT. Chances are he will make himself available.

  2. Look who is talking about being vindictive, the thug who kills and robs the poor and gifts the rich elite.

  3. Mr. Riaz probably calculated that an attack on the CJP's son would make the Judiciary back off and leave him alone. After all, now a conviction in a Pakistani court can be presented as revenge by the CJP to the gullible awam.

Mr. Arsalan may be guilty but his father has so far not been accused of anything and being related to someone is not a crime.
