Punjab University played a T/20 match against Lahore Club at New Campus ground for the preparation of the Muhammad Ali Shah Cricket Tournament at Karachi in Ramazan. Lahore Club bat first scored 150 all out. Punjab University opening batsman Ahmed Akram scored 101 in 45 balls and Saad scored 30. In 17 over’s Punjab University chased the target and won the match. Ahmed Akram took 2 wickets and scored highest and awarded the man of the match.
