National Assembly Speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza on Friday said that the notice sent to her by the Supreme Court regarding the new law against contempt of court charges is being reviewed. During her visit to the office of the Parliamentary Reporters Association, Dr Fehmida Mirza informed the media that the SC notice pertaining to the newly enacted contempt of court law had been served to her and that she would submit a reply in the court after consulting legal experts. Fehmida said that she has received the court’s notice and would take further steps after reviewing it.
