Malik goes macho

Advisor to the PM on Interior Affairs, Rehman Malik on Friday said that cases would be registered against the extortionists and target killers to protect the business community in the economic hub of the country.
The decision was taken in a meeting with Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, in which they decided to take action against the anti-state elements targeting the innocents and deteriorating law and order situation in the provincial metropolis. They reviewed the overall security, and law & order situation in the city ahead of the holy month of Ramazan. Rehman Malik said that stern action would be taken against those involved in target killings and extortionist activities to maintain law and order in the city.
CM Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah informed that the police contingent is very small in number to control the situation of the big metropolis, however, 10,000 more police constables would be appointed for the purpose of providing security to the masses during Ramazan.
