The Executive Committee of Lahore Region Cricket Association on Friday suspended its Secretary Mian Javed Ali for gross violation of LRCA constitution. President, LRCA Khawaja Nadeem Ahmed presided over a special executive committee meeting which took the decision in the larger interest of the game and to ensure the smooth functioning of the body, said a spokesman of LRCA here. He said out of 21 member house 13 attended the meeting which took a unanimous decision to suspend Javed till further orders. “He (Javed) has violated LRCA constitution as his conduct is derogatory and repugnant to the aims and objects of the Association and he has failed to abide by the instructions of the Association,” he added. He said the house found Javed guilty of negligence, disobedience, using undesirable language in TV interviews, sending unauthorized letters, misuse of powers and misconduct in so many matters. “He (Javed) was served a show cause notice, earlier this month and his reply was not satisfactory nor acceptable as he twisted the fact to make the matter complicated,” said the spokesman. All the matters explained above are in clear violation of LRCA and PCB constitutions and he has been suspended till further orders, he said.
