A man in Adelaide has admitted hacking an internet service provider – in more ways than one. Bryce Kingsley Quilley, from southern Australia, local news report, Quilley pleaded guilty to three counts of unlawful modification of computer data, one aggravated count of threatening to damage property and one aggravated count of threatening to cause harm. He attempted to hack the servers of the ISP – and then threatened to burn down its offices and its owner with an axe. No details on why the man was so furious have been released – but anyone who’s had to battle with one of the big providers to sort out their WiFi could probably have a guess. The man is now on bail, and faces sentencing in August.
