Minister for Railways Ghulam Ahmad Bilour on Thursday demanded 400 new locomotives and offered to bear any punishment if he failed to overcome the ongoing crisis in the organisation. Speaking during a meeting of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Railways, Bilour held Waqar Masood Khan, the finance secretary, responsible for the crisis. He said that Khan had not provided funds approved by the cabinet.
“I protested and threatened to resign as minister due to the non-provision of funds, but was still not given any,” he added. He told the committee that India has 8,300 locomotives while Pakistan has only 127 engines, adding that India had not invested in a motorway but had improved its railways.
if the Finance Secretary is totally responsible for the railway crisis, than what Mr.Bilour is doing ? He must resign as he cannot do anything for the improvement of this department.why Mr.zardari is kepst silent and why he has posted undeserved persons and unqualified people of the sensitive posts.Mr.zardari wants and likes those persons who cry, shout and use bad language on its opponents, then they will be protected fully.WHAT A CO-ACCIDENT WITH THIS POOR NATION.MIAN SAHEB COME FORWARD AND SAVE THE COUNTRY WITHOUT ANY FURTHER DELAY
