Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan will get a PhD from a premier physicians’ college in the United Kingdom. Tweets from the official account of the PTI and other PTI leaders revealed the conferment of the degree on the cricketer-turned-politician from the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh.

    • 1 agree with you but what is the def. of a literate person. Most of the comments so far show of evidence of being ignorarant rather than enlightened. Knowledge is of two kinds—-either you have it or you know where to get it from. We usually hit from the hip.As a member of the above college i am honoured to have Imran amongst us unlike some grate universities in Pakistan where he is not allowed to enter. Rather than congratulating him we are indulging in character assasination etc,etc..

    • I do indeed! What has he in common with Imran? Shipman was a medical doctor which Imran is not. Your knowledge lacks definition between the two. In what way is Imran perverse may i ask. I am ignorarant and seek knowledge?

    • Harold Shipman was a UK qualfied and trained Doctor who opted on his will to kill old people, Dont know how that compares to Imran? stop fooling around.

  21. Reply to IK bashers….while use of title of Dr by Awan was illegal as no such institution existed inAmerica, and bestowing of Dr degree by KU to R Malik is also not worth talking abou t, while receiving of Dr degree from UK college of physicians is world recognized, and to be truly proud of….

  23. Look i am a member of Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. We don't distribute Phds like sweets in the streets. The college is one of the oldest in UK. unlike other some other Phds obtained from fictious universities in the universe. The canidates in our college are properly vetted and voted on. Welcome aboard Imran.
