Patron in-chief, President, Vice President and Chairman Legal & Finance Advisory Committee along with Managing Committee of Bin Qasim Association of Trade & Industry (BQATI) expressed their concerns over deteriorating law and order situation of Bin Qasim Industrial Zone as looting and snatching incidents had become a routine matter at Manzil Pumps and under the Quaidabad bridge during traffic jams. President BQATI said that the law and order situation of the area was deteriorating continuously, with robberies and snatching on the rise. “Organized gangs are operating in the area. These gangs are involved in kidnapping, ransom, car snatching, looting and killings, which is a source of great concern and anxiety for business community as the situation affects trade and industry badly,” he said. Looting and snatching incidents on key point during traffic gridlock had created lot of panic, especially among foreign engineers and technical staff working in Bin Qasim Industrial Zone. These events had reemphasized the need to implement strict and additional security measures to minimize the risk of criminal activities in the area and improve traffic situation during sensitive hours.
