An activist of the Awami National Party (ANP) was shot dead in Sherpao Colony, Landhi area of the city on Tuesday. According to police, some unidentified gunmen came in the area and opened fire on 32 years old Fazal Amin, an activist of ANP.
The gunmen fled from the scene after killing him.
ANP spokesman said that Amin was a central member of Pakhtun Students Federation and Sindh Council. His body was shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
Tension prevailed in the area after the killing incident.
