The Accountant General Office Audit and Account Service workers continued their strike on the 9th day, threatening to stop the salaries of employees during Ramadan if their demands were not met.
The AG Office has not opened in all these days due to the strike of the workers, who demand audit allowance, special pay package, combined seniority of grade 18 and pre-mature increment on up-gradation. “We should be given a 100 percent allowance because we help the department recover millions of rupees,” the workers said, adding that they would continue to strike till their demands were not met.
