West Zone passes resolution against LRCA Secretary

West Zone has passed a resolution against the anti-cricket acts and statements of Secretary Lahore Region Cricket Association Javed Ali.
The resolution was passed at a general council meeting of the Zone held here on Monday under the Presidentship of Taquir Ali Shah, said a spokesman of West Zone.
He said the house noted with concern that Javed was involved in a war of words against the President of LRCA Khawaja Nadeem Ahmed and he gave baseless statements for the promotion of his vested interest. Sardar Noushad Ahmed, President Cricket Centre Model Town, presented the resolution and voiced against the autocratic attitude of Secretary LRCA and said due to his recent false statements the cricket of Lahore suffered a lot.
“After strenuous efforts we introduced democracy in LRCA which is working under the dynamic leadership of Kh Nadeem Ahmed for the cause of revival of cricket at grass root level,“ said Noushad. The house praised the generous contribution of LRCA Chief in financing cricket activities and underlined his efforts for luring sponsors to support cricket activities of LRCA.
“In the past two years, a lot of cricket activities were generated and first time a comprehensive activity plan was introduced for the revival of cricket by engaging clubs and most importantly a number of sponsors came forward to shoulder cricket activities in Lahore,” said the house. The house unanimously condemned the attitude of Secretary LRCA and termed his recent statements “anti cricket“ and demanded the President ,LRCA to take disciplinary action against him as he has violated the constitution LRCA . The house approved the resolution and it was also decided that its copies will be sent to PCB highlighting the negative propaganda campaign of Secretary LRCA.
