Mobile tracker system installed in police vehicles

Rawalpindi police have decided to speed up trackers’ installation in all its vehicles meant for operational duties to ensure monitoring of performance and accountability of the police in the province. The IG Punjab has given directives to ensure optimum security measures in this regard. The computers installed at the police lines will make sure and monitor the position of vehicles. On the other hand, additional police force has been deployed and for proper monitoring of the system, nine police officials have been appointed.
Additional traffic wardens appointed in Murree: Additional traffic wardens have been appointed in Murree to improve traffic flow. Chief Traffic officer Syed Ishtiaq Hussain Shah on Monday said several roads had been made one way to provide quality road service to the tourists. He said that traffic would not be allowed to go to Mall from GPO, from View Four to Kashmir Point and from Bagh-e- Shaheedan to Lalazaar Turn. He said stern action would be taken against those violating the traffic rules.
