Malik Riaz’s counsel Zahid Bukhari has said that his client is receiving threats and he is also being harassed.
Talking to media after representing his case before the Supreme Court, Bukhari said the court would also hear the application regarding threats to Malik Riaz during the next hearing.
He said the review application of Arsalan Iftikhar would also be heard soon.
According to Bukhari, the court has limited role in review application and the incidents taking place after the decision could not be made a part of the review.
Earlier, an Anti-Corruption Court has issued arrest warrants for business tycoon Malik Riaz and his son Ali Riaz in a 1,400 canal land scam.
Special Judge Chaudhry Zafar Iqbal ordered the anti-corruption department to arrest the two respondents and present them before the court on July 23. Other respondents in the case also appeared before the anti-corruption court.
