Khawaja’a maiden one-day century for Derbyshire helped the Midlands club to a 35-run win over the Unicorns, the England Amateur side, at Chesterfield. He made 104 from 109 balls and shared a century opening stand with Hughes. Katich guided Hampshire to a four-wicket win over Durham at Southampton with an unbeaten 59 as the southern county got home with 10 balls to spare in chasing down a victory target of 201.
