Imran threatens govt of long march if steps taken against judiciary

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan, on Tuesday, threatened the government of long march, if any step was taken against the judiciary.
He was talking to journalists at the inauguration ceremony of the Mobilink-Jazz Summer Cricket organised by the National Press Club Islamabad.
He said that his party would not support any unconstitutional step against the judiciary.
He alleged that innocent citizens were being killed in drone attacks and asked why the names of deceased had not been published so far.
He said he would take media and foreigners to Waziristan and arrange their meetings with the families of the deceased who were killed in drone attacks.
He demanded of an end to the war against terrorism and urged to resolve issues by conducting dialogues.
He said that his party would not formulate coalition with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and other parties that are sitting in the assembly, because change could not be brought by formulating coalition with these parties.
He declared that PTI was ready for the upcoming general elections and his party would contest from each and every constituency.
He demanded of inclusion of parties that were not currently sitting in the assembly in the consultation process for forming interim government.
He said that government had to obey the judicial orders and PTI would not support any action against the judiciary.

    • Imran should not try to infuence the judiciary and let it function impartially.. The CJ has asked for the support of lawyers and judges.

  4. Imran Khan is more interested in supporting the Supreme court than addressing the issues facing the people of Pakistan

  6. @Naghmana! Take a paper and start writing, what is said and what is done by Imran & Nawaz and then recheck. what was said and what is done. I think Nawaz is far better than Imran.
