Lack and neglect of traffic signals’ repairs has left the traffic system of Rawalpindi in tatters. The traffic signal project, which had cost Rawalpindi development Authority (RDA) millions, to install seems to have gone to waste. A carefully carried out research reveals harrowing state of affairs, whence majority of traffic signals including those of Moti Mahal cinema junction on Murree Road, Airport Road, and others are out of order. Traffic accidents and jams have increased by alarming frequencies due to this inclement situation.
