The prisoners staged a protest demonstration against the jail administration here on Saturday. The violent prisoners broke things and burnt their beds during the protest against inappropriate attitude of the administration. They said that the administration took bribe from the families that came to meet their relatives behind the bars. In case they didn’t give bribe, the administration threatened them to shift to Sukkur, Larkana or and Shikarpur jails, they added. They ended their protest after DSP Kandhkot assured them that their problems would be solved soon.
