PM leaves for Saudi Arabia on two-day official visit

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf left for Madina Munawwara on Sunday on a two-day official visit to Saudi Arabia. This is his first official foreign tour.
Talking to media before his departure at Chaklala Airbase‚ the Prime Minister said that he will discuss matters of mutual interest and cooperation in different sectors with King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.
He said that Saudi Arabia is a close friend of Pakistan and we attach great importance to our relations with Saudi Arabia. He said Saudi Arabia has always stood with us in the need of hour.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan offers huge investment opportunities for the foreigners and Saudi Arabia is already investing in a number of projects in Pakistan.
He said during his meetings with Saudi leadership he will also discuss for more investment in different programmes in Pakistan.
Prime Minister Pervez Ashraf said overseas Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia are contributing a lot for the development of the Kingdom and the country. He said he will also meet the Pakistani community there.
The Prime Minister will also offer condolences to the King on the sad demise of Crown Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz.
Prime Minister will also perform Umrah.
Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khurshid Shah is accompanying the Prime Minister.
