The Meteorological Department has announced on Saturday that more showers are expected in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Kashmir. Heavy rains are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Kashmir and upper and lower parts of KP. Rain is also forecasted for the coastal areas of Sindh and Balochistan in the next 24 hours. Showers are also expected for the Gilgit and Baltistan region. The highest temperature in the country was recorded at 47 degrees in Dilbadayn.
