Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has accused Pakistan People’s Party’s coalition partners of doing the politics of vested interests.
Addressing a press conference on Saturday, the former prime minister also accused the PPP and its allies of destroying Pakistan. He said those who backed off from their promises of giving evidence to the Scotland Yard had changed their positions and they were unfit to run the country, an obvious reference to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan. Khan had said he would provide the London Police with evidence against the Muttahida Qaumi Movement. Nawaz said he had sacrificed his government in Sindh for law and order and over the murder of Hakim Muhammad Saeed in Karachi. He said he should be given credit of good work that he carried out during his stint as the prime minister of Pakistan. “The PML-N constructed airports; made Pakistan an atomic power and finished unemployment from the country. There was no existence of terrorism in my tenure,” he said. The former prime minister said he had built the motorway where fighter planes like JF-17 Thunder and F-16 could land and take off, signed deal for the JF-17 Thunder project, invited Indian prime minister, eliminated unemployment and was about to eliminate poverty when his government was toppled by those who were against development. He said 70 percent of load shedding should have been ended by the governments in its four years of rule. The PML-N president said he considered party workers a priceless asset. Nawaz said long marches were obvious, as general elections were nearing. He said he was blamed for being a “friendly opposition”, but said friendly oppositions did not stage long marches. He accused President Asif Ali Zardari of violating the Charter of Democracy (COD) signed by him and PPP’s late chairperson Benazir Bhutto. Nawaz said Shahbaz Sharif had show exceptional performance in Punjab.

  1. Shut up nawaz shareef. You are dishonest person and corrupt politician. Zardari and you are two sides of the same coin

  2. Will nawaz ever stop living in the past? He talks about everything in his past except his source of wealth. He doesn't adress the deal he made with Musharraf (which he kept denying). He is a liar. He supported zardari for four years and now that he realizes that he in fading away in history, he is making statements to get attention. Why does he not talk about why he backed away from the moemo scandal? We'll need a thicker rope for his fat neck. He is starting to look pregnant. I wonder if he's carrying zardari's baby 🙂

    • LOL, man your last line was hilarious. Thanks for a good laugh. I still can't stop laughing
