Unrest continued in the financial capital of the country as at least two more people were killed in firing incidents in different parts of Karachi, officials said on Saturday.
According to police, target killing continued in Karachi as two people were shot dead in wee hours of Saturday in span of one hour in different areas of the city.
Some unidentified people opened fire at a truck in Landhi No 4 due to which the driver was killed while another man was killed in firing incident at Jamshaid Road No 2, police said.
Meanwhile, an encounter between police and dacoits took place in Site Area where police arrested two injured dacoits, Atif and Abdul Qayyum. Police also recovered three mobiles cash and pistols from their possession.
A passer-by was also wounded during encounter between police and dacoits. Police have shifted all the injured to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
