Pakistan Handicap Team defeated Afghanistan team by 8 wickets in first of three matches T-20 cricket series played at Shalimar Cricket Ground here. Afghanistan won toss and decided to bat first, Afghanistan team was all out at 67 runs in 15 overs. Ashraf made 20 runs and Jehanzeb 12 runs. Pakistani players Kashif got three wickets while Fayyaz and Shujaat two wickets each. In response of Pakistan Team achieved the desired score in seven over at 2 wickets. From Pakistan side, Junaid made 13 runs, Adeel 32, while Altaf and Saqib 8 and 7 runs respectively. Mr. Atique declared as Top scorer while Kashif man of the match. At the end of the match, Austrialian High Commissioner, Paul Malley, Test Cricketer Tanveer Suhail, Col. Ehsan Paracha distributed the prizes. Former President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce, Munawar Mughal inaugurated the match. Chairman, Pakistan Handicap Cricket Association, Abbas Hashmi, Chief Organizer, Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry, Tariq Sadiq were also present on the occasion.
