A writ petition was filed in the Supreme Court on Friday challenging the resignation of Adviser on Interior Rehman Malik from his Senate seat without getting the SC’s permission, according to a private TV channel. The petition was filed by Mahmood Akhtar Naqvi. The petitioner submitted that the SC had already suspended Rehman Malik’s Senate membership in the dual nationality case while the case was still pending in the SC, but Malik resigned from his Senate seat without seeking permission from the SC, which was against the court orders and constitution. The petitioner pleaded the court to issue directives in this regard. Meanwhile, another petition was filed in the SC against Rehman Malik for cheating the court regarding his dual nationality. The petitioner submitted in his petition that Rehman Malik cheated the court by claiming to have renounced his British nationality. The petitioner said that Rehman Malik lied to the court, proving that he did not respect the judiciary and the court and he must be booked for fraud.

  1. Wait untill another govt. comes to power. He will be booked on murder charges. He conspired with zardari to kill BB. Wasn't a bad thing to do but its still a crime. Unfortunately he will run away to his adopted country UK.

  2. Malik did not seek the permission the the court to run for the senate seat so why should he seek permission to quit. The Supreme Court is becoming a house of ridicule

  3. A salute to this brave man Naqvi for raising this. Malik is a mafia man, through and through. Bring him to justice.

    Hang him.

      • I accept. Hang me with Zardari, Nawaz, Malik & Gilani. I only ask for these four to be hanged with me.

But then you wouldn't because you are a ignorant jiyala and while your corrupt god Zardari will run away in a $100m jet, you will be making your escape after selling you mother & sisters, in a donkey cart, such is your corrupt & infested mindset.

Finally a prayer: Death to every jiyala.

  4. Grazarm Nelta John et al. Please do not use such harsh language even as satire. Our society has enough aggression. And to Daddy, you say that without any evidence, but the one that you wish you had. And your comment 'Wasn't a bad thin to do'. Well what can one say?
