Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial on Friday issued notices to the Punjab home secretary and inspector general of police for September 27 in a contempt of court petition. The LHC had ordered sending the names of four petitioners, including Mussarat, for departmental promotion as inspectors. Despite the court order, the petitioner’s names were not considered by the respondents.
