A Pakistani soldier, who had mistakenly crossed the Line of Control (LoC) and had entered into the Indian territory, was sent back to Pakistan via Chakkan da Bagh in Poonch district on Friday.
“Pakistani soldier identified as Arif Ali, 19, resident of Quetta was apprehended by the army on Thursday when he crossed over to this side from Kerni Sector,” Indian media reported.
They said Arif was posted in 25 Frontier Force in Pakistan and he was in civilian clothes, adding that he was unarmed while two SIM cards, an identity card and currency worth Rs 13,306 was recovered from him. After investigations it was found out that he had inadvertently crossed the LoC.
