Assistant Commissioner (City) Muhammad Ali reviewed the Ramadan sasta bazaar arrangements to be set up at G-7/2, Islamabad, during the month of Ramadan to provide food items at cheaper rates than those of weekly bazaars.
It was decided that stalls in the bazaar shall be allotted on the basis of previous experience as endorsed by the Food Department Islamabad. The number of stalls will be from 80 to 100 and a non-refundable fee of Rs 4,500 would be charged. Last date of applications for stalls is fixed as July 16. Food Department, ICT, will enforce the rate list of food items and quality of food items will be ensured by the stall holders. Aabpara police station will ensure the security arrangements at the bazaar.
MA all set for Ramadan bazaars: The Rawal Town tehsil management authority (TMA) has finalised preparations for setting up five subsidized Ramadan bazaars in the city.
The steps have been taken on the directives of Rawal Town Administrator Saif Anwar Jappa. The bazaars would be set up in Liquat Bagh, Murree Road near Nawaz Sharif Park, Haideri Chowk, Rehmanabad and Committee Chowk.
In a meeting chaired by Town Municipal officer Chaudhry Liquat Ali, suggestions were finalised to make these bazaars low cost and it has been decided to post the personnel of all union council in these Ramzan bazaars.
Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner Islamabad Mohammed Ali reviewed the arrangements of the bazaars while 80 to 100 stalls would be installed.
The last date for applicants booking of stalls is 16 July. While Aabpara police station would provide security for the Bazar.
