The Supreme Court (SC) declared to indict the real estate tycoon Malik Riaz on July 16 in contempt of court case, according to a local TV channel.
A three-judge bench of Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan, Justice Ejaz Afzal and Justice Athar Saeed heard the case against Riaz.
The Supreme Court has appointed the attorney general as the prosecution lawyer for the case.
Earlier, Riaz had been issued a show-casue notice for hurling allegations against Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in a press conference held on June 12
In today’s hearing, Advocate Abdul Basit, Malik’s counsel, requested the court to allow Riaz to travel abroad for treatment and exempt him from court proceedings.

  1. SC is only acting on contempt of court.
what about corruption cases against him?
Courts have utterly failed to check corruption

    • Go and file a corruption case against him and then court would listen… Courts are already burdened so much… Corruption is NAB's responsibility… Do you have some courage to critise NAB??

      • NAB= Never accountability Bearu is being used a tool for vested interests.
What accountability will a retired Naval chief will do whos daugther is employed by Malik Raiz? Is it ok now?

  2. 'The one who offers bribes and the one who receives bribes must be punished', is an Islamic way of justice. People are just waiting to see if the Supreme Courts disposes in this manner after collecting all evidences. Dr Ahmad Rashid Malik – Islamabad.

    • I think you mean he would make a better PM / President than the pathetic scum Zardari or Nawaz. Yes he would, because his tummy is full, unlike those two devils who will only be satiated once hellfire is fed to them InshaAllah.

Finally a prayer: death to every jiyala

  3. Finally Malik Riaz will find out that Money Always Does Not Talk, Nor Bullshit Walks
