Arsalan Iftikhar, son of Cheif Justice Ifthikar Muhammad Chaudhry, filed a review petition in Supreme Court on Friday.
According to a private TV channel, Arsalan showed his dissatisfaction over the impartiality of NAB and asked SC to review its verdict in his case. His counsel Sardar Ishaq submitted the petition.
Arsalan also insisted to form a judicial commission in this regard.
Earlier, Dr Arsalan Iftikhar, through a legal notice recently, had questioned the impartiality and legality of the NAB and its chief Admiral (R) Fasieh Bukhari in Trapgate probe, arguing that the former naval chief and his family have had close relationship with Malik Riaz Hussain.
Through his counsel, Dr Arsalan also objected that the role of attorney general in referring the matter to NAB for probe, and argued that the AG had gone far beyond the mandate given to him by the Supreme Court because of his bias against the Chief Justice.
