Research cell on Sufism to promote tolerance

Provincial Secretary of Culture Department Abdul Aziz Uqaili has said it is for the first time in the history of Pakistan that the present government has established a research cell on Sufism with headquarters at Bhitshah and subordinate centres at Sehwan Sharif and Daraza Sharif to promote tolerance, love and affection among the human beings. He observed this while talking to the media men at Cultural Complex Sehwan Sharif on the eve of second day annual urs celebrations of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar (RA) this night. He said this research cell had been established with the help of chief minister fund of Rs 10 million. He said presently the research cell had recommended and brought out six books on Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar. The provincial secretary informed that his department had also planned to establish Bhitshah Research Institute (BRI) at Bhitshah with its estimated cost of Rs 300 million this year.
