Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Tuesday directed the management of Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) to resolve the issue of properties claims of Hindus to the satisfaction of the affected people at the earliest. The Prime Minister gave these directions while talking to Syed Samsam Ali Shah Bokhari, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting who called on him at the PM House and discussed prevailing political situation in the country.
Syed Samsam Ali Shah Bokahri took up with the Prime Minister the chronic issue of properties of the Hindus, which are currently with Evacuee Trust Property Board. The state minister said that the Board was depriving people of their legitimate claims on property and this was causing resentment among the member of the minority community.
Later, Syed Maratab Ali Kirmani, Baba Hakim Ali, Zakir Hussain, Chaudhry Anwer and Raja Khan also joined the meeting with the Prime Minister.
