The officials of the Multan and Faisalabad districts have been asked to form different organizing committees and generate funds from different quarters to hold the Punjab Youth Sports Festival in an appropriate manner.
In the second meeting held here on Tuesday the district officials at 90 Shahra-i-Quaid-i-Azam, Deputy Speaker and Chairman Organizing Committee Sports Punjab Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan said that Punjab Youth Festival is going to be a trend-setting event, which would end negativity about the country.
Secretary Sports Punjab Haroon Ahmed Khan and Director General Sports Board Punjab and Youth Affairs Usman Anwar were also present on the occasion.
In the first meeting District officials of Lahore and Gujranwala were briefed about the organization of the festival while in the second meeting MPAs, MNAs and other government officials of Multan and Faisalabad were given details of the festival.
They districts officials were given a timeframe of next three days to form committees to hold the event in an aptly manner and give their feedback to the chairman organizing committee. Similar meetings with officials of other districts will be held in the coming days.
