Gyari martyr laid to rest in Kandhkot

Ghulam Haider Mirani, who embraced martyrdom in Siachen glacier avalanche, was laid to rest here in his native village on Wednesday.
Courageous parents of the martyr were proud of their son, saying other sons are also ready to offer any sacrifice for the homeland if needed.
Earlier, the coffin of Mirani, who embraced martyrdom along with 139 soldiers after being buried under an avalanche at Gyari Sector in Skardu, was brought to his village.
The martyr was laid to rest with full military honor.
Mirani is survived by a widow, four daughters, a disabled son and parents.
