Heading a three-member bench of the SC at Quetta Registry, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry wondered how crimes against the common man could be deterred if the murderer of the chief minister’s nephew had not been traced. Balochistan Advocate General Amanullah Kanrani submitted before the court that the people who became victims of targeted killings during June include 15 policemen and 86 citizens. Justice Khilji Arif Hussain remarked that all killers vanish after committing crime in Balochistan.
