Culture Department is holding a national literary conference on Tuesday at Sehwan in the evening at 8pm on the eve of 760th Urs of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.
Scholars, authors, intellectuals and poets will read out research papers, articles and poetry on the thought and personality of Qalandar Lal Shahbaz..
The Provincial Culture Department has been holding the national literary conference on the occasion of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar Urs for 4 years.
This year, Dr Raj Wali Khatak and Muhammad Hassan Dam Saz from Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, Mudassar Iqbal Butt from Punjab and Professor Ali Qumail Qazalbash from Balochistan will participate and read their research paper.
The conference will be presided over by Provincial Culture Minister Sassui Palejo.
Six books have also been publish by Culture department on this occasion including ‘Hazrat Shahanshah Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’ written by Syed Dinal Shah Darbalvi, ‘Qalandar Namo’ of Hakeem Fateh M. Sehwani, ‘Tazkara-e-Shahbaz’ by Memon Abdul Majeed Sindhi, ‘Al-Shahbaz’, of Jalil Sehwani, ‘Qalandar Lal Sehwani’ by Dr. Nawaz Ali Shauq and Azad Anwar Kandhro’s “Sindhri jo Shahbaz Qalandar”.
