Provincial Disaster Management Authority Director General Mujahid Sherdil on Monday announced that the government has allocated Rs 50 million for flood relief and for provision of food and vaccinations.
Sherdil said that all relevant departments had been alerted in case of flooding and the process of food storage had begun.
He added that the government had begun stocking up on tents, blankets and other necessary items in case of an emergency. This announcement came in a review meeting for potential floods. APP
