The 11th Annual Sports Festival of the Pakistan Bible Society was held at the Forman Christian College ground here on Monday. Around 70 teams from Lahore, Gujranwala and Sheikhupura took part in the different events including T20 cricket (hardball and tape ball), football and basketball. More than 80 athletes registered for the whole event. The event was officially inaugurated by chief guest James A Tebby (Rector Forman Christian College) who shared encouraging words for the youth and appreciated the vision of Pakistan Bible Society. The event was attended by the members of Bible Society including the Secretary Anthony A Lamuel who highlighted the importance of peace, love and shared the motto of the sports festival. The whole event is the coordinated-effort of Irfan Francis while the guests included Justus Nassir, Mrs. Marina Lamuel, Prof Earnest N Dulv and Baber Kamal, The whole event was managed by the members and volunteers of the Society which also include Justus Nassir, Irfan Francis, Ajmal Tahir, Cedric Wasim, Peter Lal (Multan), Younis Masih (Islamabad), Nasim Bhatti (Isb), Shahid Yousaf (Peshawar) and POWER (Volunteer group).
