Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Senator Aitzaz Ahsan has expressed reservations over the contempt of court bill. Talking to reporters on Tuesday outside the Parliament House, he said he had conveyed his reservations to the party. The PPP leader said he was not consulted when the legislation was being made nor did the contempt bill contain his opinions. Aitzaz said he was leaving for New Delhi on July 12 and would not appear as Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf’s lawyer in the NRO implementation case. The National Assembly on Monday night passed the Contempt of Court Bill, 2012, under Article 248 (1), exempting all government office-holders, including the prime minister and all other ministers from court proceedings under contempt charges. 1. Anarchy is complete. The only institution which has respect is no more. What is the def. of govt .office holder. Now Mr. Awan can get up from his sick bed and maintain that he was right all the time.

  2. This man is sick. He got a LPG quota on his wife'e name and made 100 crores.
Down with this D)) and his supporters (even the blind ones who could not see his real face in 2007)

    • Not only LPG quota his spouse is chairman women cricket board. Also recall he received few pennies as his professional fee to defend Gilani, a noble deed?

  3. Sorry but Aitzaz Sahib strikes me as a confused man. Unsure where he should stand and with whom
