Federal Water and Power Minister Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar said on Sunday that power cuts will be reduced in the holy month of Ramadan. “The government would try its level best to avoid power load shedding during Ramadan,” he said while talking to reporters at Lahore Airport. “Work is under way on many joint power projects with China and the provinces should also support the centre to overcome power crisis in the country,” he said. “Oil is being stocked to avoid a crisis situation in future,” he added. While talking about Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Mukhtar said that he is like brother to me and I am always ready to talk to him.
