There is a need to promote the message of Sufis and saints about peace, love, brotherhood and tolerance.
This was said by Acting Governor Sindh, Nisar Ahmed Khoro in a message on 760th annual Urs (birth anniversary celebrations) of famous saint, Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalender (R.A), said a statement issued on Sunday.
He said the golden principles of Islam could help maintain peace so as to achieve the goal of development and welfare.
Nisar Ahmed Khoro said that Pakistan, particularly, Sindh is a land of Sufis and saints, who spread the message of Islam through their teachings.
He said Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalender had also promoted the message of Islam which is about tolerance, peace, brotherhood and love.
The acting Governor has called upon the people to pledge for promoting message of and teachings of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz for welfare and development of the people and the country.
