Midfielder Andreas Ottl has left relegated Hertha Berlin to join Augsburg on a two-year contract, the Bavarian club announced on Monday.
Ottl, 27, is a former German under-21 international who has made 135 top-flight appearances with Bayern Munich, Nuremberg and Hertha.
Hertha were relegated from the top tier of the Bundesliga at the end of last season after losing a play-off against Fortuna Dusseldorf.
